桃園一對23歲的王姓小夫妻，因為沉迷電玩，對才滿週歲的女兒疏於照顧，也捨不得買奶粉，只餵女兒吃稀飯，造成女兒營養不良，體重只有三公斤多，活活餓死。法官認為兩夫妻年輕缺乏照護孩童經驗，害女兒枉死，依遺棄致死罪各判夫妻五年四月有期徒刑。
