The Trilogy has ended, but the trials that the illustrious Kratos has to go through will not end there. After much anticipation, rumours and leaks, God of War Ascension, the seventh game in the series is announced to be released.
It's the prequel to the whole series. Find out the true, human face of Kratos, see what kind of man walks the path of the God of War.
Nothing yet has been released about the game. However, the teaser is filled to the brim with foreboding. It promises to be epic when the narrator mentioned the time before Kratos becomes the Ghost of Sparta and when he was not bound in blood.
More will be added about the game once the information becomes available. At the moment, the game is expected to come some time in 2013 to PlayStation3 gamers:
Welcome to the world of the Dragon Quest. Ever since its first release in 1986, this is one of the series that defines Japanese RPGs and sets standard for it.
Call your friends and get online. Turn yourself into elves, orcs, dwarves and other fantastic creatures. You are completely free to customize all aspects of your avatar.
Log into the game, join together in the great hall and just socialize, or form your own team to travel from corner to corner in the great world. Quests and other challenges come out regularly, and the epic, touching stories that set standard for the series are back. Clear them in episodes, one at a time or run through the lot of them collectively.
Feel free to call the world of Dragon Quest X your home in August:
Release the Kamegame-ha. Feel the power rising through your body. The Kinect connects your reality to that of Goku's. Every fight becomes more visceral.
Your every move before the cameras counts. So get off the couch and into the fight. You have more than 50 characters to control, so remind yourself of the skills.
There is going to be a story mode where you can step into the screens and animated cut-ins in the Dragon Ball Z show. Players can jump into the heroes' shoes and feel the emotions rolling through them as they face impossible foes. The Score Attack mode is going to pit two characters against each other in a fight.
See who remains standing longest.
